My wife died of triple negative breast cancer 3 weeks ago. She was 37. We have a son aged 11. Right now the emptiness and sadness i'm feeling is overwhelming. They tell me it gets easier, but my son is going into high school in August and it was the one thing my wife, Denise was really looking forward to. I'm so lost and lonely

'Lost and lonely' sums everything up really and I know them both very well. Your feeling's are normal Jason and it's very early day's for you and your son, everyday brings a new emotion.
Be kind to yourself, it take's time....lots and lots of time.

I lost my wife unexpectedly just over 15 months ago so I understand some of the pain your feeling & you are in my thoughts.
