If you type in memorial verses in your search engine it will bring you up some sites with wonderful poems, i know i have found so many there. Hope this helps, x

I thought I saw you today
Walking in that special way
Then reality set in
And I knew it couldn’t have been
But for the briefest moment
I was able to pretend
And think of all the great things
That really should have been

But a brief moment to pretend
Was all I was allowed
As the boy who looked like you
Walked into the crowd

I wanted to follow him
Get a glimpse maybe a hug
But I knew it wasn’t you
The on I truly love

So I wiped away my tears
And slowly walked away
My broken heart was aching
Because I thought I saw you today

i thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart.
