i would like to know how many people are aware of the goverments plans to take away attendance allowance and care component of the dla and give it to the social services meaning every sick and disabled person will be dependant on social services and some will get none at all

disability and invalidity are two very different and very seperate benefits the latter i agree does get abused by many but not so the former and its that one the goverment is targeting its no good people burying their heads in the sand "it wont happen for a while " or comments like its about time the goverment woke and smelled the coffee disabilty is for those who have vast medical evidence and it is very hard to get ,its independance for those who are housebound ,those who need help to bath ,those who need help to cook and clean those who mostly have worked all the time they were well enough and feel humiliated and degraded because they now feel lika burden on society i know this because thats how i feel , we are all entitled to our opinion so if you think people like me should lose their self respect and dignity to save the goverment( who wont cut back themselfs) contact your mp if you think we should be allowed to keep our self respect and dignity and not have to have complete strangers coming into our homes to help us to bath ,dress and eat please please please write to you mp i cant play with my grandchildren can you ? im only 53

colleen they are not touching disability or attendance allowance at all it was on the news they are only going to make the system abit more easier for carers and for people with disabilitys to claim they are not giving anything to social services as they have already said it will cost them alot more to do so because there are millions of disabled people and social services do not in any way have those resorses to care for so many,. xxx
