This thread poem 2 as been started to follow on from poem 1
Anyone may add their poetry to this thread, also feel free to copy/paste poems for your memorials.
Please remember that poems added on this thread belong to someone else, so when copy/pasting them please add the Author's name.
If you are not sure where the poems have come from be safe, do not add them.
The reason for this thread, is so that none of us have to run through many poetry site's over the net to find a verse, or poem.
Breaking copyright rule's is a serious offence, not just on the person that removed that copyright, but for this site.

lost my sister angela 2 weeks ago aged 47
its her birthday today.
Angie your an angel in the sky
Since you have gone all i do is cry
I miss you here in our family
Just cant take in the reality
That your not here, you have gone away
It was your time and you couldnt stay
I sat by your beside and held your hand
Till god took you to the promised land
All i have are memories of your time here on earth
Of those 47 years since the time of your birth
I miss you angie since you have gone
But my love for you will always live on
For your in my heart and thats where you,ll stay
Till we meet again on that special day
Oh what a day that sure will be
When we are united my sister and me
Lord pick our angie a birthday rose
And give it to her in heaven above
happy birthday angie
missing you more every day

NEW YEAR!
A New Year has begun
Or so I am told,
Where did the last one go !
Or the one before that
As a matter of fact,
I must be lost in the past,
Frozen in time, Perhaps.
A year without You......
Has no end, No beginning
Just the world continuing.
Long days, Cold nights,
Empty hours, Lost of your light
Your smile, so bright.
A New Year has begun
Or so I am told
Just another day in time
That means nothing without You
Darling Son of Mine.
My eyes have closed to reality
I see.....Only your Memories
Precious times, Bliss Divine.
So I maybe lost in the past
It is there, The sunshine lasts
Frozen in time, Until the time is Mine,
Where did last year go
Or the three before that.

Ring out the old
Cheer in the new,
As I raise my glass
All I think of is you.
Another year passes
More memories to store,
But, None are as sweet
As the ones befor.
A new year begins
No one knows
Just what it brings,
Still..... In my heart
Is for you a longing.

Do you think that you are alone,
That is simply untrue.
Gonetoosoon Angels are stood beside you,
Together they join hands,listening for the midnight chimes,
Each one wearing a smile upon their face,
Taking turns to take each other into a loving embrace.
Now take a look above your head,
See how bright the stars shine,
Each one sends down love, in the glowing moonlight.
Did you see the shooting stars,
Giving such a perfect display,
For the brand new year ahead.
Your Angels will be by your sides,
Through out the year ahead.
So leave your hearts open
Allowing your Angels to peek inside.
They will be reaching out for you,
For they are your Heavenly guides.
