This thread poem 2 as been started to follow on from poem 1
Anyone may add their poetry to this thread, also feel free to copy/paste poems for your memorials.
Please remember that poems added on this thread belong to someone else, so when copy/pasting them please add the Author's name.
If you are not sure where the poems have come from be safe, do not add them.
The reason for this thread, is so that none of us have to run through many poetry site's over the net to find a verse, or poem.
Breaking copyright rule's is a serious offence, not just on the person that removed that copyright, but for this site.

THE TIME AS COME FOR ME TO CALL IT A DAY
I CAN ONLY HOPE AND ALSO PRAY
THAT YOU SEE YOUR LOVED ONES IN A SPECIAL PLACE
FORGIVE ME FOR LEAVING I WILL NEVER FOGET YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE
I CANNOT SAY GOODBYE BECAUSE YOU ARE IN MY HEART
I CARED AND LOVED YOU FROM THE VERY START
I DO BELIVE IN ANGELS SO I KNOW ONE DAY I WILL SEE

Nan, i look at our megs,
and i hurt way deep inside,
to think you could not see her,
before you closed your eyes.
You could not hold her in your arms,
hold her close to you,
could not see her bright blue eyes,
before away you flu.
But megan she will no you,
about your tender loving way,
and although we can not see you,
we know your here each and everyday.

MY TEARS ARE LIKE A RIVER FOREVER THEY WILL FLOW

The day we said goodbye i fell apart

The time goes by very slow

We done everything together right until the end
Miss you daughter like flowers need the rain
Please come back dear daughter and take away my pain
Miss you daughter like a lock needs a key

The saddest day/Funeral.
Today was the saddest day
That ive ever had to bare
The day that they buried you
The last day i saw you there.
I listened to the vicar's words
They were faint among my cries
I watched them lower you down
I gave out an almighty sigh
I threw a rose upon your bed
It was like throwing away my life
Oh god this has been the saddest day
Its cut me deep like a knife.

HEAVEN IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE WHERE WE PLAY
IT IS WHERE WE ALL BE TOGETHER ONE DAY

SO MUCH HAPPINESS THEY WILL ALWAYS BRING

Fly away into the night
Among those shining star's
Flap those wings so white
Past jupiter and mars
To your destination go
Arrive at heaven above
There you will dwell forever

Never say goodbye/Son
Could i ever find someone just like you
To love me forever in everythng i do
Could i find so much laughter and joy
Another like you my own little boy
Could i get back all the good times we had
Maybe not, as my life was made to be sad
Could i travel now to where you are
Way up in heaven swinging on that star
Could i stay with you and never come back
I so doubt that, as its not my chosen track
Could i not just say goodbye to you
I cant son, for it would break me in two
