This thread poem 2 as been started to follow on from poem 1
Anyone may add their poetry to this thread, also feel free to copy/paste poems for your memorials.
Please remember that poems added on this thread belong to someone else, so when copy/pasting them please add the Author's name.
If you are not sure where the poems have come from be safe, do not add them.
The reason for this thread, is so that none of us have to run through many poetry site's over the net to find a verse, or poem.
Breaking copyright rule's is a serious offence, not just on the person that removed that copyright, but for this site.

I WILL NEVER FORGET DAD
I will never forget dad what you said..
When you were lying there in the hospital bed
I will always remember holding your hand
And to this day dad i still can't understand
Why you dad?
Why did you leave?
And even now when i think about you going..
I still find it hard to believe
For you were my mentor dad and my best friend
And i thank you so much for waiting for me right until the end
As i know dad you were waiting for me to hold your hand that day
And in my memory dad that shall always stay
You were so brave and you gave such a fight
And for that my dear dad i love you with all my might
God bless you my lovely dad
You were the best dad any daughter could ever have had.
I will never forget you dad..
Never ever ever for you will always be locked inside my broken heart forever.

To My Wonderful Mother xx
I will never forget you my darling mother,
for I loved you more than any other other.
You fed me clothed me dried my tears
Looked after me for many years.
The time then came when I looked after you
as you grew weaker and I instantly knew,
that your time with me was getting shorter
and I heard your words "Goodbye my daughter."
For all the years you took care of me,
I will always remember and treasure
For my dear mother now you are gone
Your memory is with me forever.

I was so happy to be expecting you
I had a picture of your scan
So happy and delighted
My perfect little man
Months went by and i gave birth
To my beautiful baby boy
So georgeous and so perfect
You was such a joy
Until one day you got poorly
We didnt know what was wrong
Doctors couldnt do anything
Told us to be strong
You slipped away so peacefully
In my arms late one night
My little baby was gone
Now nothing seems right
Just one thing i want to ask you
If you are listening to me above
Look after my baby
He needs a lot of love

SO MANY HEARTS GET BROKEN
BY CARELESS WORDS THAT ARE SPOKEN
A FORGOTTEN PROMISE THAT WAS SHARED
LEAVES A VOID SO LARGE IT CANNOT BE REPAIRED
SILENT TEARS,A SHATTED DREAM
UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN THE YOU WILL NOT KNOW WHAT I MEAN
YOUR BROKEN HEART YOU FEEL IT WILL NEVER MEND
ALL OF YOUR DREAMS HAVE COME TO A END
IS THERE ANY REASON FOR LIVING AT ALL
WHEN YOU LAST FELT HAPPY YOU CANNOT RECALL
YOU CANNOT HELP THINKING THE PAIN WILL ALWAYS STAY
IT IS WITH YOU ALWAYS SUCH A HIGH PRICE TO PAY
THE PAIN INSIDE IS SO HARD TO CONCEAL
BUT I CANNOT LET OTHERS KNOW HOW I FEEL
UNHAPPINESS PAIN,FEELING SO SAD
I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE ITS GOT SO BAD
I TRY TO THINK BACK BUT FOND MEMORIES ARE FEW
SITTING ALONE NOT KNOWING JUST WHAT TO DO
I WISH I HAD GOOD REASON TO LIVE ONCE AGAIN
WHY DO I FEEL SO MUCH HURT AND PAIN
FOR SO MANY YEARS THE PAIN AS BEEN BUBBLING INSIDE
IT IS JUST TOO HARD FOR ME TO HIDE
I HAVE TRIED SO HARD TO DO MY BEST
TO SEE A FUTURE JUST LIKE THE REST
NOW I KNOW THATS JUST NOT TRUE
I AM AT A LOSS I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO
NO-ONE TO TURN TO WHO CARES AT ALL
NEVER HAS BEEN THAT I CAN RECALL
OFTEN I WONDERED WHY NO-ONE WANTED ME
I AM NOT A BAD PERSON WHY CANT THEY SEE
THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE BEYOND ALL REPAIR
WRITTEN BY SOME-ONE BROUGHT UP IN CARE

My Garden
As I look out my window from my lonely room
The spring is here and the flowers are in bloom.
The cool gentle wind blows away all my tears
even after all these long, long years.
The warm summer sun dries my tears all away
as I once again try to through another day.
The beautiful trees of Autumn stand so tall
as I watch all the leaves beginning to fall.
The snow in the winter looks pretty and white
and my garden is now such a beautiful sight.
I wish you could share all the seasons with me
But sadly I know this can no longer be.
But I know in my heart in your garden above
You look down on me and shower me with love.
The sun is your warmth, your radiant smile,
The rain is the tears that I shed all the while.
The snow is the coldness that I feel in December
and that snowman you made I will always remember.
So I will look after this garden with so much love
as I know you will look after God's in Heaven above.

Always With You
I will be with you no matter where you are,
I will be the breeze you feel or the brightest star,
A gentle butterfly with colors all aglow,
I will be with you no matter where you go,
When you feel someone standing close to you,
Do not be afraid for it is I coming through,
I have not really left you,for I am all aroun you,
Although you can not see me,you will feel me close to you,
So until the time is right,just remember me with love,
For one day in the future,you will join me in Heaven above.

Mummy
Mummy I know you love me and mummy I know you care,
Mummy I know how sad you are and can see all your tears,
Mummy I know how much you wanted me and forever hold me tight,
Mummy just look at the night sky and find the star so bright,
Mummy I am with you every step along the way,
Mummy you will see me again and then we will play,
Mummy please remember God only takes the best,
So Mummy he took me to among the rest,
mummy I know it is hard for you and I love you so,
But Mummy please know there is a special place that all Baby Angels go to,
So Mummy try and smile for me and let your love remain,
For one day when the time is right,we will be together again.

A Candle Never Lit
A candle never lit is like.........
A prayer never said, or that promise never kept,
A hand offered in to help, or a smile never offered in friendship,
A hurt never forgiven, or a wound never healed,
A kiss never asked for, or a hug never accepted,
A love never pursued, or a dance never danced,
A song never sung, or those words never spoken,
A child never born, or a flower never allowed to bloom,
A risk never taken, or a room you never come out from,
A wall never climbed, or that path never taken,
A child never knowing their grandparents, or that card you never sent out,
A mercy never given, or a hate never left behind,
A baby never suckled, or a tear never shed,
Light that candle that sits so gloom and cold,
Bring a truth to your life before you are to old.

Tiny Little Halo
Tiny little fingers,
Tiny little toes,
Tiny rosebud lips of pink,a miracle I know,
I could not wait to see you,
And hold you close to me,
But found,instead, that some things are never meant to be,
Tiny little Halo above your tiny head,
I know that God has chosen you,
To be with him instead.

Heavy Heart
She carries such a heavy heart,her tears will often flow,
Seems everyone avoids her, seems no-one wants to know,
Her grief she carries all alone, nobody seems to care,
Will anyone ease her burden,the burden she must bear?
Her baby has just left her,but where did her baby go?
Why did they leave so soon,and will their mummy ever know?
A mothers grief is a lonely path,she only wants her child,
For others to understand,their love if only only mild,
To talk of her lost baby,feel her real pain,
To tell her life will soon be bright, as she will see her child again,
For her baby has gone to Heaven, an Angel up above,
Where there are no tears or dying,just great eternal love,
Please try to understand a mothers grief and thank God it was not you,
That lost your precious wanted child,for her baby was wanted too.
