This thread poem 2 as been started to follow on from poem 1
Anyone may add their poetry to this thread, also feel free to copy/paste poems for your memorials.
Please remember that poems added on this thread belong to someone else, so when copy/pasting them please add the Author's name.
If you are not sure where the poems have come from be safe, do not add them.
The reason for this thread, is so that none of us have to run through many poetry site's over the net to find a verse, or poem.
Breaking copyright rule's is a serious offence, not just on the person that removed that copyright, but for this site.

Sweet Child
Did you see the little girl/boy who came to play,
Little did we know they would not stay,
She/he crammed so much into the time they had,
Her/his lovely smile made everyone so glad,
Now she/he has gone to where the Angels play,
Loved and remembered every single day.

In my dreams
In my dreams I see you,I know you are near,
I wish that things were different and you were still here,
An Angel on earth and now an Angel in Heaven,
Only lent and not forever given,
Alisha Marie I love you with all my heart,
I wish so much that we never had to part,
Up above is now where you are,
I see you at night the brightest star,
Forever missed and loved you will be,

Today
Today is just another day like all the days before,
Today I know I will cry again and then cry some more,
Today just as normal I will be wishing you were here,
Today I will be wishing that you were still near,
Today I will maybe just stay in my bed,
Today can I face the world when you should be here instead?
Today I will try and an effort make,
Today I may even go and bake a cake,
Today will soon be over but my pain will always stay,
Today will be another day just like yesterday,
Today I will try and smile and send you all my love,
Today I have to remember you are an Angel up above,
Today and today and for the today's ever more,
Today I know I will cry just like the days before.

The Angels Came
I dreamed a dream that I hoped was not true,
I dreamed the Angels had come for you,
I awoke to tears upon my face,
All I saw was an empty space,
My heart was breaking right in two,
I knew then that my dream was so true,
I prayed for you to stay with me,
But God decided it was just not meant to be,
The dream I dreamt was oh so true,
The Angels had really come for you.

Pain
Within me I carry a pain,
How will my life ever be the same?
It was going to be filled with joy and love,
But now you are playing with the Angels above,
No one told me how cruel life could be,
I have since learnt that since the day you went away from me,
All the plans I had for you,
Now they will never become true,
So how can my life ever be the same?
For within me I carry a pain.

As i float along the milky way
I arrive at heavens door
And to my suprise theres people
And faces ive seen before
I feel happy and elated
A golden gate opened for me
As i step inside this place
Im amazed by what i see
Theres trees lined with gold
There flowers that never die
And teardrop dont exist
Im so happy, but i cant cry
Theres harps playing softly
And friends that i once knew
Hold out their hand to greet me
In the this land of sky blue
Theres a smell of the flowers
Its like nothing ive smelled before
Theres gold dust about my feet
And a welcome on my garden door
Yes i like this place called heaven
Even though i will miss you so
But i will visit you often
Even though you wont know
And as i thank my father beside me
For opening his golden gates
They toast a wine to greet me
The lord and my new found mates

I MISS YOU MY LOVELY SISTER
I miss you sister oh so much
I only wish we could stay in touch
I miss your smile and your loving way
I only wish you could come home to stay
I miss our chats and all the fun times we had
We always stuck together through the good times and the bad
I miss you my dear sister from the bottom of my heart
I've missed you since the day that we had to part
I miss you dear sister but i promise you one day
We will be reunited in the same loving way.
