This thread poem 2 as been started to follow on from poem 1
Anyone may add their poetry to this thread, also feel free to copy/paste poems for your memorials.
Please remember that poems added on this thread belong to someone else, so when copy/pasting them please add the Author's name.
If you are not sure where the poems have come from be safe, do not add them.
The reason for this thread, is so that none of us have to run through many poetry site's over the net to find a verse, or poem.
Breaking copyright rule's is a serious offence, not just on the person that removed that copyright, but for this site.

Thanks for taking time to read, please feel free to add, also remember to leave your name at bottom of poem.

Goodbye.
Goodbye, we will meet again
In some pastures new
Tears have fallen many time's
Since the day that we lost you
It wont be goodbye forever
It's just for a little while
So dont you go on crying tears
Turn that face into a smile
Goodbye, but never be sad
For i am here beside your side
And one day when we meet again
Those sad, sad tears will have dried.

Smile for me
I want to say don't miss me
Don't keep crying tears
I can see you every day
As you face up to your fears
You can talk to me still
Even though I'm not here
I am only sleeping now
And every day I'm near
When you see a rainbow
That's where i now dwell
And when the sun shines down
Don't let your eyes swell
Laugh and i will laugh with you
Blow kisses up to the sky
For i will always be with you
I am asleep i did not die

Grandmas ring
The diamond ring sat alone in the cuboard
Inside of that old velvet box
As she opened and lifted the lid
Her heart skipped for the love that she lost
She slipped it on her finger and kissed it
It was hid away for many of years
Locked away with the cobwebs that surrounded it
Her blue eyes were now full of tears
She remembered the women that wore it
Through childhood and all of her life
This ring which brought memories back now
It cut deep in her heart like a knife
She pictured her face and she smiled
And she whispered i love you my star
For a women who cared and loved her
This women her dearest grandma

I love you dear mummy
And i know I'm not here today
But last night while i slept
Sweet angels flew me away
They gave me a beautiful garden
With wings to fly to you
Mummy don't cry i am here
And that's what angels do
I'm happy in my garden mummy
And i want you to smile for me
As now i can watch over you
Just like you watched over me
Send me some lovely flowers
And little gifts for me to play
Don't miss me mummy i love you
And i am here right now today.

i try so hard not to cry for you,
but life is not the same since you flu,
at night when im all alone,
all i want to do is pick up the phone,
dail your number and chat for awhile,
because talking to you alway brought a smile,
but heaven doesnt have a telephone,
and because of this i am alone,
i would give anything to here your voice one more,
and when i come your stood at the door,
i miss you more then you will know,
and so my tears they do flow,
but one day we will meet again,
and then i will not have this pain.

MISS YOU SON
Miss you son oh so very much
I only wish we could stay in touch
Miss you son more than you will ever know
God takes the best as he took you so it goes to show
Miss you son and it breaks my heart
Just to think that we are apart
Miss you son like flowers need the sun
Miss you my son as you will always be my number one
Miss you son and i loved you from the day you were born
Miss you son so much now my heart is torn
Miss you son and if i could have a wish once more
It would be for you my son to walk through the door.

Softly as the evening falls,
I thought I heard your gentle call,
But where you are there is no pain,
How will I ever feel the same again?
It's so hard knowing you are no longer here,
I have cried so many tears,
Taken far too soon,too young too die,
All we did was to sit and cry,
Our hearts were broken on that sad day,
Gone ahead to where the Angels play,
To know we will never see you grow,hurts so much,
Your smile,your skin,so soft too touch,
Out of sight,but not out of mind,
Ties of love do us all bind,

Heartache
Ten tiny fingers upon your little hand,
Ten dainty toes on your feet to help you to stand,
I look into your sleeping face and my heart is filled with love,
How can something so beautiful now be an Angel above?
Your eyelashes so long upon your sweet face,
No one will ever take your place,
The joy we all waited for is now replaced by tears,
The numbness, the heartache, along with all our fears,
I want to hold you in my arms and never let you go,
My darling child,how I love you so,
A part of me went with you the day you were called home,
I feel that my world has stopped and I feel so much alone,
I gently place you down for one last time,
Tears are on my face as I whisper, "peace be thine",
Without you I am nothing, and never will be again,
All I feel is heartache and a huge, huge pain,
My darling child you will be loved and missed every single day,
Goodbye is to final a word for me to ever say,
God only gave you to us to borrow,
Loved today, yesterday and for all the tomorrows.
