RE: can anybody help?

I just joined here and I am shocked that no one has responded to you yet. Please do go and see your doctor and ask for counselling or some help like that. The loss of a pet is very real and the grief can be just as all consuming as losing a human relative. For some, it can be worse.

Every day, try and do something you feel you can't do, just little things, like a walk in the park, or visit a relative or a trip to the shop. It will be hard at first but the sense of achievement you will feel will build and make you stronger. Why not offer to walk a neighbours dog each day? That way you wouldn't feel like you were replacing your beloved collie but you will still get that feeling of companionship, and you may even feel like getting another dog before you know it. Not a replacement, they can never be replaced, but there are many dogs out there who need a loving home, so please do consider it eventually
Good Luck

RE: can anybody help?

Sorry for the late reply. I know the feeling, Ive lost soo many Pets (4 cats and 2 dogs) since 2008. You still feel hurt as the years go on and in my case it has just multiplied. Remember the good times and remember that she is at Peace and let that bring You peace. You will be together again one day.
I hope you are feeling a bit better now.
