who can help my brother rebuild his life

Hi my brother lost his fiancee at the end of last year, they were together for roughly four years. To begin with he fell apart and lost every thing his flat his job amongst other things. The socail services got involved, which all the family agree was a mistake in letting them be involved, they made he like he could not grieve for her, they harassed constantly in the end they detained him under section 2 of the mental health act, they kept him there for the weekend until hte doctor in charge of his case released him because all he was doing was grieving and he should not of been there. My brother has tryed to move on and rebuild his life with no sucess, he cant cope living by himself but he wont live with family, he had got a job but he has now lost the job because he can not concentrate, he blames him self for the death of his fiancee. Is there any organisation that could help get into some sort of supported housing like a hostel and could give him councelling, he wont go to the doctors as they are the ones who got the socail services involved and he does not trust them, he desperatley needs help rhe family dont know how to help him he is slowly cutting everyone out of his life and becoming withdrawn. he currently rents a room in the east end of london, it is doing him know good being there. please help
