My mom died at the beginning of April, (Edwina Batson nee Bant)it was all very sudden & unexpected, I thought setting up this gone to soon site for her would give all the family & close friends somewhere to visit & leave messages, but thats not the case, people just don't seem that bothered, people said it would get easier for me after she died & I know its still early days but I think i'm falling apart at the seams & nobody gives a damn as long as I still look after my home, husband & 5 kids, I know it sounds awfull but I realy can't be bothered to help with the home & kids, all I want to do is sit & cry

So sorry for your loss.
I kind of understand how you feel .I created a memorial for my Mam who passed away in feb 2008. I sent the link to family and friends . Some people said they have received it, but noone has lit a candle or nothing.
I hope things get a bit easier for you.

I have lost my Mum to Carol and its been 2 and a half years since she left and I still fall apart if I hear a song or a voice or any reminders of my beautiful mum we all grieve in different ways there will never be a day that goes by when you wont think of her and the special times you shared She is in your heart and nobody can take that from you So you deal with it the way you need too I have kids who know why mummy cries because I miss my Mummy Please except my condolences for your loss and know that I will pray for you and your dear family take care x

so sorry for your loss,but hope you find comfort from your messages left by all of us.we are all on the site for the same reasons carol,so as you have already found out your not alone ok.how do you feel now? knowing there are so many people out there ready to talk to you.i lost my mam sudden,i was 8 half months pregnant when i found her on her bedroom floor.she was only 57.i lost my sister suddenly,by getting pushed through a glass door,3 days before her 17th birthday,i lost a niece through stillbirth 3 years ago,then lost my nephew 3 weeks later,brother to the stillborn he was only 7.2 funerals in the same month 4 a brother and sister,but we have to go on.so you hold your head up high and keep lighting those candles 4 your mam,and im sure your family will remember her in their own way.god bless you.take care.we are all here 4 you.xxx
