RE: FEELING DUMPby FAMILLY

Oh my goodness! Before reading all these posts i felt i was the only one with a family that has turned their back on each other..I am the youngest of 12 children and we were always a close family,But in the last couple of years everything has changed we never talk or get together anymore and when one of my sisters or brother's calls me now it's because they want something or need money..My parents are turning over in their graves and i can almost see the tears in their eyes..We desperately need a wake up call before it's to late..We lost a sister to Cancer in March of this year but still nothing has changed..

RE: FEELING DUMPby FAMILLY

I have had a similar experience to you all. It seems a shame as we all got along great before my mum died but it seems she was the glue that held us together. I feel sorry for the children in my family who have not only lost their granny but lost their aunties, uncles and cousins because one family member feels like he is the only person grieving and is out to cause trouble.

RE: FEELING DUMPby FAMILLY

hi linda

my famliy was sort of held together by my grandad who passed away in july and now its has been torn apart when we really should be holding it together, you are definatley not alone,i have no support and very little contact with my family now which is horrible, especially as my own 2 young daughters are suffering
the saying of "you can chose your friends but not your family" is so true, i am lucky i have some really great friends but it doesnt make up for the family i feel i have lost
