What i have noticed is that some people don't seem to be very understanding when they find out that you have lost a loved one to suicide! I have lost my son Alex in this way and i am sick and tired of some people when they say things like like 'silly boy'....'what a stupid thing to do' is there anyone else who had similar experiences?
RE: Suicide
Hi tina
Well!! if anyone ever said that to me i would spit nails.
How dare they no one knows the way the human mind works not even doctors next time someone says that to you just say well its silly people that come out with such rubbish.
And thats just what it is utter rubbish.xxx

RE: Suicide

RE: Suicide

love to you tina xxx
RE: Suicide
What an unfeeling thing to say to someone who has lost a family member to suicide, I feel so much for you, I just think how desperate they must have felt to do such a thing. I can't imagine and neither can any one who has never felt that desperate. How can people judge! And why do they feel the need to say anything if they can't say some thing supportive. unfortunately some people put their mouths into gear before they engage their brains. xx
RE: Suicide
lots of people say ,oh why did he do that ,also that my brother took the cowards way out,but nobody knew how he felt so nobody should judge or say those things to anybody.
RE: Suicide
Thank you all so much for your kind words......i have learned to ignore those comments most of the time it is like you all say anyone who takes their own life has had reasons......it just feels sometimes that in some peoples eyes that the loved ones we all have lost to suicide don't really deserve to be mourned!
RE: Suicide
Tina ignore those idiots. I haven't lost my son, but Idid lose my darling nephew this year he was 29 god bless him. People should think before they speak, nobody can say what is in thier minds when they decide to take their own life. If we only had the answer but we never will. Some people can be hard and cruel, our loved ones arn't stupid, their not idiots who lost the plot!! They are beautiful people who for whatever reason made a decision, its a hard decision for the loved ones left behind but nevertheless the decision was made and he deed has been done, but they will always be the people we love, we loved them before and we will love them forever. God Bless all who have suffered this year from a suicide and god bless anyone anywhere who at sometime in their life has suffered the same fate. To all the people who don't understand, I hope you never have to experience the loss of suicide, but next time you open your mouths with such rediculous remarks, try walking a mile in our shoes. With love Tina
