I lost my grandmother Rene in 2005 but it wasnt due to a stroke, she had 7 of them altogether throughout her entire life and still came out fighting! She was placed into a care home after my grandfather Ronald died from luekemia in 2002 but didn't let it get her down. She was wheelchair bound and couldn't bathe herself or feed herself properly and we could only understand a few words that came from her lopsided mouth. She always tried to smile when her children and grandchildren came to visit and family were her whole world. She was a mother to 7 children, grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a great grandmother to 9 great grandchildren. She would be so proud if she was here today to see us all growing up and getting on in life. I miss her more and more each day and love her always and forever! Stay strong all those who are going through family members suffering through this horrible thing! My thoughts are with you all x x x
