My brother died 3 years ago. he was stabbed. One of my close friends died in may. he was stabbed. Yesterday another one of my friends was killed. he was stabbed. i have gone to many sessions with a specialist but no matter what i do the pain just dosent seem to ease. Everytime i think about the days they were stabbed i am always trying to see a way that i could have prevented it. The use of knives has become so acceptable that two of my friends have been killed in less than a year is the govenerment going to do anything about this or am i going to have to wait untill 50 more teens are killed? I am only 16 last year alone i was @ 5 funerals and 3 of those were people under the age of 19. Is anyone going to do anything to stop these brutal killings? The truth is this can only get worse from where i am sitting.

hi sweetheart,my son was murdered in april 2007 he wasn't stabbed he was kicked and punched to death his killer served just 21 monthes in prison after winning his appeal to get his sentence reduced from 6 and a half years.my best friends son was tabbed to death 2 and a half years ago and his killer walked free.the law in this country is a joke and the sentences handed out if any are an insult to the ones we have lost and those of us left behind who have been left behind to suffer.if proper sentences were handed out then perhaps the bullies on our streets would think twice before commiting these violent crimes.sorry for your losses sweetheart. i wish there was something that we could do. but i think untill one of the so called big wigs who make the decisions in this country have to suffer the way we have, nothing will be done as all they do is bang on about clamping down on knife crime etc ,yet the number of violent crimes are still on the up, and from what i can make of it they haven't come up with anything yet to stop these scumbags destroying peoples lives.take care sweetheart.xx

The pain of losing someone to murder never dies it hurts so much because you wonder why! what reason!then the killer walks free because a judge does not allow his staement to be given to the jury, after admitting it and walking away is a hurt I find hard to endure, my husband has know left me and the family wants a new life with no memories of our son, I can not forget I do not want to forget my son he lives in my heart where I will keep him forever.my son was murdered stabbed 6 times three times through the heart at 12.28am on new years day 2007.

Alison i agree with you honey our Government and courts are a total joke.. it is a true saying they get away with murder because they do.
Elsie has got to go back to court on Tuesday for the first one who murdered her son to be sentanced so just pray he gets what he deserves, i will be there with her.

The judge is the law and can not even be challanged I tried this I went to see the CPS and they said the judge is law and there is nothing you can do even if he's wrong he's right. what hope in hell do we have in this country when you can not challange, I read the Accussed statement and let alone him being in the dock so should the female they dropped the charges on as she instigated the attack with her lies and who after reading the statement believes she started off with the knife.the other male Karl Eastwood admitted GBH as he kicked my son in the head after he was stabbed, he got 4yrs to life

My daughter, Sarah was beaten, raped and murdered in February 2003. She was 14yrs old. Her rapist and killer was sentenced to a minimum term of 10yrs in prison. He will only be aged 28 when he becomes eligible for parole in 2013. All we can do is pray that he doesn't get his parole, but I'm sure he will. I still have terrible flashbacks of the night she died. It was on her dad's and my 25th wedding anniversary. I know we have to live with what our darling Sarah was subjected to by this monster, but I can never accept it or come to terms with it. You have to learn to live WITH it.

THIS COUNTRY IS SO OUT OF CONTROL, WHEN SOMEONE IS SENTANCED TO LIFE THEN IT MUST MEEN LIFE NOT A MIN OF 6 OR 20 YEARS, WHAT IS THE POINT IN GIVING A LIFE SENTANCE IF THAT PERSON ISNT GOING TO SERVE IT ?
