our baby reece was just one year and one week old when he died from dilated cardiomyopthy october 06.I noticed there was not a thread for this.I was just wondering if anyone else has lost a child through this condition?we are still so devastated by what happened to reece so suddenly.

We lost our baby Danny on the 15th June '08 he was 3 days old. He had Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Scans at 24weeks preg were normal then at my 34week scan they said he had the same heart condition as our Daughter...she is 4 now. Was Reece on medication? So sorry for your loss :( Xx

Im so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious little boy.I have not come across anyone else that has lost a baby/child to this awful disease.how is your daughter coping with it?she most be so brave.bless her.xx

Its only after losing Danny that it has hit me how serious this condition really is.I have never known of anyone else with the condition so have never really known what to expect.I worry so much about our Daughter now :( Are you on facebook or MSN??X

my daughter died of cardiomyopothy she was 15 she was taken in to hospital feeling unwell and died 3 weeks later i had no idea how ill she was it was explained to me that a viral infection had attact her heart and that was whatwas making her so ill that was 7 years ago

hi my name is georgina i am so very sorry for your heart breaking loss you must ov been through hell i no that it seems as it will never ease and as though your tears will run for ever but please know that your little one is in such a beautiful place now were there is no pain or suffreing or illness just the life they had before they was poorly you will never ever forget your little angel but we can learn how to cope a little better with the life we have now you must go on and be strong now it may take time and one step at a time to get there but you must keep yourself busy visit your angels resting place care for that place talk about your day ahead but you must be brave as your life untill you see your little one again is here my prays and thoughts are with you and please feel fee to go onto my garden and leave me a message and as soon as i get it i will get back to you be strong love georgina farrimond
