Accidental - suicide?

My stepdaughter passed-away in 2006 and the verdict of the inquest was 'accidental-suicide' ... as Lucie was only 14yrs old when she passed, and it was a complete out-of-character shock when this tragedy occurred. She was always a happy-go-lucky girl, popular & pretty; so her death was such a shock to us all, but a few months before Lucie passed her cousin who was only a few years older than her and whom she was very, very close to, had committed-suicide. Due to this the inquest came to the conclusion that Lucie had been experimenting when this sudden tragedy occurred. It's not her cousin's fault she obviously had her own problems, but it's not Lucie's fault either, no one's to blame. We will never actually know the truth why she done what she did that day, but nevertheless it doesn't make it any easier that it's being called an 'accidental-suicide' ... it's still a death and loss, you still feel the emptiness eating you up inside. So whatever the reason or verdict why someone dies, i believe does not make any difference to the grief that you feel inside. What do you think?

RE: Accidental - suicide?

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my son aged 13 to hanging but it wasn't suicide he was tryin.g something called the choking game that he had heard about in school. No note nothing he was a happy go lucky boy with every thing to live for. I have tiredlessly been trying to raise awareness in the UK of the choking game as the coroner and he ams verdict was open and he couldn't rule that the cause of death could have been due to the game. I'm 100% certain this is what happend. For more info plz look at www.chokinggame.net or search Tyler mison on Google. xx
